Point Alexander Presbyterian Church Yard Sale
The Point Alexander Presbyterian Church Yard Sale is the premiere yard sale of the summer season. It is held every year on the Saturday following the August long weekend. As usual, this year's sale featured lots of stuff and lots of customers.

The Point Alexander Presbyterian Church was constructed in 1887 and is the oldest original church still in use in the Townships of Rolph, Buchanan, Wylie and McKay. The annual yard sale and their pancake and sausage breakfasts are important fund raising events for this small congregation.
More information about the history of the church can be found in Staying the Run by Jennifer Mercer, published by the Rolph, Buchanan, Wylie and McKay Historical Society.
