Late Season Winter Storm

2018 April 16

A late season winter storm swept across Ontario, with significant snow, rain, freezing rain, ice pellets and wind, over the last three days. In actual fact, we were spared the worst of it here in the upper Ottawa valley. It certainly wasn't very nice out, but we only got a few centimeters of snow / ice pellets and minimal freezing rain. And no power interruptions. But for the time being at least, we're back into winter conditions.

And to think that we saw a red-winged blackbird at the Chalk River on Thursday.

There's a turkey hiding in those trees.

Major Tom is not impressed. He's so annoyed that he's not even displaying for the girls.
