Early Spring Drive in Eastern Algonquin Park

We returned to Algonquin Park to check on the status of the melt (For a comparison with 2018 March 26, see An Early Spring Drive into Lake Travers in Algonquin Park). The plan had been to drive into Achray, but the road was blocked at the main road so we continued on to Lake Travers. The park is still frozen pretty solidly, so it was no surprise to learn upon our return that the park opening had been further delayed to at least 2018 May 11.
