Three Nights on Grand Lake

Last week, Diana and I spent three nights canoe camping on Grand Lake in Algonquin Park. (It was originally planned to be four nights but we wimped out due to the rainy weather on Monday.) Grand Lake is not a very adventurous location, but it is a pleasant location and age appropriate. We were a little early to catch the fall colours -- they are just beginning to turn -- but our timing was determined by external factors.

We experienced nice sunny days with cool overnights and misty mornings.

Here are some photos from our trip. Many of the photos are from our campsite, but the dead stumps, etc are from the Rowan Creek wetland, and others are from a paddle to the top end of the lake.
