Frozen Swamp
The swampy ground just downstream of the beaver dam along the HSA ski trail in the Petawawa Research Forest.
Bright March sun, mild temperatures and deep snow. Beautiful conditions and yet nobody has been over this section of the trail since last week's snow fall. While I appreciate the solitude, I also worry that it may be a case of "use it or lose it".
