Beavers Recently, when I was at Maunsell Lake in the Petawawa Research forest, I was visited by a group of beavers; there were at least six of them. At first I thought they weren't aware of my presence; but then I realized that, not only were they aware of my presence, they were curious about me. When I crouched quietly by the lake shore, they continually circled by to get a better look.
