The small bodies of water are starting to freeze up.
A few days following the Four Season's Forest walk to explore the trail around Cranberry Lake, I set out on my own to explore the trail on the east side of the lake. This beaver pond is on the creek that drains Cranberry Lake into Rat Lake. It is interesting that Cranberry Lake also drains to the north into Kennedy Creek.
