Liar
Nature is making a liar out of me.
In my bushlog posting of 2005 December 17, Ottawa River Freeze Up, I claimed that the Ottawa River was essentially frozen over at Deep River and that it is rarely open at New Years. Well, it's been mild and it's almost New Years and the river is still open. This view from yesterday is looking upstream from the pump house in Deep River.
