Furry Bird Ever since he first appeared in mid December, our "friend" the marten has been a regular visitor to our bird feeders. We need to keep the suet in wire cages suspended by cable, since he makes repeated violent attempts to tear them apart. While he's not quite as agile as a red squirrel, he's pretty impressive.
