Clear Water. Green Water. While Eustache Lake is purported to be the deepest lake in Algonquin Park at 90 m, this view shows a somewhat shallower part. But it does show the clear greenish water that is characteristic of an Algonquin headwater lake. The clarity is due to it being groundwater fed; the greenish cast is due to the groundwater's mineral content.
