Cold Front I'm not sure what the exact temperature was at Burkes Beach last Tuesday morning, but it was pretty miserable. And a strong wind to boot. That night the temp went down to almost -30C and the river froze over at Deep River. However, subsequently, a lead has reopened in the middle.
