Ferry and Dock at Swisha, 1950 The log dock on the right appears to be the same one used by the steamboats that ran up and down the Ottawa River in the 1800's. The ferry is on the left, drawn up to its landing. We don't know what the other end of the ferry route was. If anyone out there has more information, we would very much appreciate hearing from them.
