Arethusa bulbosa Dragons Mouth Swamppink

Where's the Orchid?

There's a single Arethusa bulbosa (commonly known as Dragon's Mouth or Swamp-pink) almost dead centre in this photo. Clearly if you have any red-green colour vision issues, you would have trouble finding these guys.

They are late emerging this year; perhaps it's the high water levels, or perhaps it was this year's cool spring. I had checked this area and another local area where they grow about 10 days earlier and didn't find anything.
