O.K., why has "The View from Point Alexander" been off the air for the last several days? My plan had been to disappear into Algonquin Park for a few days starting last Tuesday morning. Thus I needed to preload at least four pictures into "The View" on the Monday evening even though I didn't really have four pictures that I was happy with. Then on Monday afternoon, we lost our dsl internet connection. After a frustrating hour on the phone with technical support and talking to three layers of support staff, I manged to convince them that the problem was at their end, not mine. They agreed to fix it but it would not be until Tuesday afternoon. So I went canoeing.
Note, an unconnected issue is that the "related" function is not currently working, nor are the most recent posts being indexed. I'm not sure what the issue is, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to fix it.
