View from Presqu'isle   This photo was taken from the top of the cliff at Presqu'isle by Joan Kalechstein. In the foreground is Turtle Lake, then upstream on the Ottawa River is Upper Presqu'isle (Little Presqu'isle) and the sand point at Fraser Landing. In the far distance is the headpond (Holden Lake) above the power dam at da Swisha (des Joachims). The power dam and the stack at the old NPD (Nuclear Power Demonstration) site are visible when the photo is viewed full size. Thanks Joan.
