The Beaver - Nature's Engineer This bridge is across Ooze Creek along the portage between Opalescent Lake and Ooze Lake in Algonquin Park. The local beavers have decided to base their dam on it. As a consequence, the approach to the bridge at both ends is now flooded. It should be interesting to watch the battle of wits between the beavers and the park rangers over the coming months.
